Years 5 and 6 went to Chenderit School to take part in an event called Young Sports leaders. At Young Sports leaders we did different things to help us come up with new games we also got to play some new games. We got put into groups so we could meet people from other schools and in those groups we did loads of activities. It was a great experience and we can not wait to try out the new skills we learnt.
In the afternoon, on Wednesday, Years 5 and 6 went to Prodrive for our STEM (Science, technology, engineering and maths) project. We learned about the materials and steps used to make racing and rally cars and understood how the cars and engines work. We even got to see the car that won last year’s Le Mans race and all of Prodrive’s racing trophies. It was an interesting and fun experience and we can’t wait for the for the next trip.
